Peter King Electrical started off as Jeffery & King with Mike Jeffery and Peter King being
former employees at John Standard Electrical.
After initially working from home they rented a unit at the rear of Anglian Arms, 96 Risbygate Street, now known as Elsey’s yard.
The business continued to flourish and with more employees moved to specially built premises in the ground of Pete’s house at Horringer Road.
Eventually Peter took over sole ownership of the firm and changed the name to Peter King Electrical. He continued to build up the business.
Having built up a good reputation and a solid customer base he then purchased a new unit on the Rougham Industrial Estate giving easy access to the A14 and surrounding areas.
Peter passed away in 2009 leaving his wife Susan King and Manager Ian to run the firm with continued success.
